If you are a fan of BBQ, you will not want to miss out on the 3rd annual Smoke on the Harbor BBQ Throwdown, to be held this Friday and Saturday, November 14th at 15th at Patriot's Point in Mt Pleasant, SC. I attended this event last year with my husband, per the suggestion of our friend and Cru Restaurant head chef, Travers Horton, who had a booth at the event.
On Friday night, from 5pm tp 9pm, you will have the opportunity to sample BBQ wings for $1 per sample/ticket and then vote for your favorite wing. Saturday, from 11am to 5pm, dig in and enjoy BBQ ribs, pork butt, brisket and chicken, again, voting for your favorite BBQ. You will also be able to enjoy live music performances, a cocktail competition and a Kids Zone with "drop off" option, all within a family friendly, casual and fun atmosphere.
